Safer to the Environment

The product ingredients are less harmful to plants, animals and aquatic life.

The product ingredients are non-toxic to the earth, water or atmosphere.

The product ingredients are biodegradable, and throughout the process, they will not form harmful or toxic substances. Our products do not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates or any other ingredients which have the potential of forming harmful substances as they biodegrade.

The finished products are VOC compliant and do not contain any ozone depleting ingredients.

The product ingredients are not reportable under Sara 313.

The product ingredients do not cause eutrophication (the accelerated growth of plant life in or near water systems). Our products do not contain phosphorus or any of its associated compounds, such as phosphates.

Safer to the People

The undiluted products are not toxic to humans.

The products do not contain carcinogens or reproductive toxins.

The undiluted products are nonflammable.

The undiluted products are non-corrosive to the eyes or skin and are not skin sensitizers.

The regular use of the products will not affect indoor air quality.

Conserve Resources

Where practical, the products are concentrated so as to conserve the use of packaging materials.

The products are packaged in recyclable containers.

Formulated to Meet Customer Expectations

Green Seal™ Environmental Standard for Industrial and Institutional Cleaners (GS-37). Products cannot contain:

Greater than 0.5% by weight total phosphorus.

Alkylphenol ethoxylates

Dibuytl phthalate

Heavy metals including arsenic, lead, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, mercury, nickel or selenium.

Ozone-depleting compounds.

Greater than 1% by weight VOCs for general purpose cleaners and bathroom cleaners as used, and greater than 3% by weight VOCs for glass cleaners as used.

Note: Zinc and 2-butoxy ethanol ("butyl") are not specifically mentioned. Zinc is listed in GS-40, below.

Green Seal™ Environmental Standard for Industrial and Institutional Floor Care (GS-40). Products cannot contain:

Greater than 0.5% by weight total phosphorus.

Alkylphenol ethoxylates

Phthalates

Zinc or other heavy metals including arsenic, lead, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, mercury, nickel or selenium.

Ozone-depleting compounds.

Optical brighteners.

Greater than 7% VOCs in finishes as used, and greater than 3% VOCs in strippers diluted for light-medium buildup and greater than 7% VOCs diluted for heavy buildup.

Green Seal™ Enviromental Standard for Household Cleaners (GS-08). Products cannot contain:

Greater than 0.5% by weight total phosphorus.

Greater than 0.5 mg/L of heavy metals including arsenic, lead, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, mercury, nickel or selenium.

The sum of the concentration levels of lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium present in any package or packaging components shall not exceed 100 ppm by weight.

Greater than 10% VOCs for the weight of the product.
